Homestay Fees Homestay Fees Payable to You
At
Like Parents Homestay, you set your own homestay fees which are net
amount payable to you. The reference homestay fee
payable to you is AUD150-300/week for year 2012 depending on home
location, quality of time spent with students, facilities provided, and
whether
meals, internet connection and private car pick-up are included. You may
charge a higher rate for executive style homestay, for example private bedroom and bathroom with office equipment and free internet etc.
Like Parents Homestay will pay the
homestay fees to you fortnightly after the student arrives. You may choose to
be paid by bank transfer or PayPal.
Management Fee (Free to Homestay Hosts)
While
some homestay agencies charge administration or management fees from
host families, we provide basic service and ongoing support to you free
of charge.
On top of the homestay fees set by you, Like
Parents will add a weekly management fee and bill to students to sustain our support and cover the following
cost. Mature students may be eligible for discounts in weekly management fee to meet their budget. - applicable taxes;
- homestay insurance;
- ongoing follow-up and support;
- regular community networking events;
- handling of emergency.
